FOZZY/STUCK MOJO Guitarist Guests On AMERICAN DEVILS CD: Audio Available

October 27, 2005

FOZZY/STUCK MOJO guitarist Rich Ward has recorded a guest appearance on lead guitar on the songs "Alone" and "Standing Tall" from the Atlanta rock band AMERICAN DEVILS. Both tracks will be included on the group's upcoming CD, tentatively due in early 2006. In the meantime, you can check out "Alone" on the band's MySpace page at this location.

Regarding how Ward came to be involved with the band's new album, AMERICAN DEVILS guitarist Matt wrote, "Some of you may wonder how I got Rich to perform this solo... Money, favors, did you vote Republican?!?!?! No, none of these silly things. It all goes back to the year 1998 when I became a STUCK MOJO fan through wrestling. I became a huge Rich Ward fan immediately... There was a beautiful simplicity to his style that I appreciated. Anyways, fast forward to 2001 and I am a stunning young 17-year-old in an equally young band. Anyways, I had gotten to know Rich over the years by attending many STUCK MOJO and SICK SPEED shows. I had done some photography for those bands and Rich and I became friends. Long story short ('cause it's long enough already),I let Rich borrow a CD of mine... SYMPHONY X 'V: The Mythology Suite'. To this day, Rich lists this band as a favorite of his. However, the problem was Rich lost my CD!!!! I asked him about it for three years until finally we were both in the studio with our producer Shawn Grove and Rich finally fessed up to losing it. So, to make up for it, he agreed to record two solos on our upcoming album."
